Canning Industries Co. Ltd.

A member of Sayegh Group , established in 1976 to cover the needs of the local and neighboring markets of all sizes and shapes of cans needed for many industries, especially food industries. Considered one of the major companies in Jordan for can manufacturing; it has a technical staff with extensive experience as well as laborers totalling more than 180 Jordanian employees .
It was ISO 9001 :2000 certified in the year 2002 and its production lines include :

Production of Food Grade Cans:
  • Production capacity up to 100 million cans yearly.
  • Cans are produced according to international specifications and are F.D.A (Food and Drug Association/ USA) approved.
  • Soudronic welding with side seam powder.
  • Continuous and extensive quality control to achieve best quality.
  • Food grade lacquers imported from the most excellent companies and according to international standards (F.D.A)
  • Cans are used for canning meat, beans, tomatoes, oils, cheese, biscuits, toffees, etc.


Production of Crown Caps
  • Production capacity up to one billion caps yearly.
  • Best quality varnish and PVC imported from the top companies.
  • Crowns which are used for carbonated drinks and for all glass bottles.
  • The company is approved supplier of crowns for most of the international companies.


Production of General Lines Cans:
  • Production capacity up to 25 million cans yearly.
  • Used for filling paints, adhesive materials, lacquers, inks, …etc
  • Produced in all international sizes, round, square and rectangular.

Production of aerosol cans:
  • Production capacity up to 10 million cans yearly.
  • Cans are used for filling all kinds of insecticides, air freshener, paints, hair spray ,…etc
  • All international sizes are available.


Production of Moulds and Spray Parts:
    The company has an up to date maintenance and technical department that deals with manufacturing most of its needs from spare parts, necessary moulds for cans, as well rendering technical services for several factories in Jordan.

Printing and Coating of Tinplates:
  • Production capacity up to 50 tons daily.
  • Satisfy the needs of the sister Co. (National Paints Factories Co. Ltd.) with decorated and lacquered sheets, also the needs of other companies with very good quality prints competing with imported products.
  • Lacquering all kinds and sizes of tinplates and aluminum sheets with different kinds of lacquers.


The company has also a production line for manufacturing iron drums in accordance with international specifications and standards and it consists of three sections:
    New Drums Production Section:
      which produces metal drums of 200 liters capacity .
    Cutting of Cold Steel Sheets Section:
      which carries out the process of cutting rolls into sheets according to different measurements as a prelude for drums production.
    Salvage and Maintenance of Used Drums Section:
      where modern techniques are applied for cleaning used drums and re-forming and painting them for eventual utilization to contain chemical materials for several times.
