Roya TV channel celebrated the launch of its Ramadan schedule as well as its HD broadcast. During a ceremony, which brought together stars of the channel’s programs as well as its partners in media and advertisement, eng. Fares Sayegh said that the channel had used studies and public opinion polls to prepare for this schedule.
According to these studies, the highest demand was for “Bab Al Hara”, which was bought along with the fourth edition of “Tawq al Banat”, and “Afareet Adli” starring renowned actor Adel Imam.
Sayegh added that comedy shows also had their usual share of the schedule in the holy month. The “Comedy Hour” features numerous shows, such as “Watan Ala Watar” starring Palestinian actor Imad Farajeen, “Al Hob Al Hob” and “Bas Ya Zalameh”, which was produced by a group of actors in occupied Gaza strip.
Commenting on the HD broadcast, which was launched as of the first of Ramadan, Sayegh said that the channel “is committed to presenting the highest quality to its audience, ensuring it remains a key player and competitor in the Arab world”.
